This versatile treatment can be used in 3 different ways to adapt to all types of curls - as a pre-shampoo (for fine loose curls), as a deep conditioning mask or as a leave-in conditioner.

Deep conditioning mask: After cleansing, apply from roots to ends on soaking wet hair. Detangle with fingers or with a wide tooth comb, leave in for 20-30 minutes.

Add heat for an extra deep treat - wrap head with our Curl Towel and let your body create the heat. This helps lift the cuticle allowing all the nutrients to penetrate deep into the hair shaft.

Rinse and follow with the Curl Cream and Curl Defining Gel and style as usual. Final results, strong and moisturized curls.

We harness the power of plants to create an effective range of curl care, using naturally derived ingredients and natural fragrances. We refer to the Environmental Working Group (EWG ) to keep our products are clean as possible.

Our formula does not contain: silicones, sulphates, petroleum, propylene glycol, parabens, PEGs, phthalates, synthetic fragrance/colours and is alcohol-free and naturally derived-an average of 97% plant-based making Boucleme safe for the environment and safe for your body.

We test our products on real curls, never on animals. We work with a panel of testers with different curl issues.

We source Mafura butter, Marula and Mongongo oil through a cooperative in Southern Africa committed to biodiversity conservation. All our Aloe Vera and Shea Butter is organically grown.

Our bottles and tubes are made out of biopolymer sugarcane, an upcycled bioplastic made from renewable sources that helps reduce CO2 emissions.

Our Colour Toning Drops packaging is made from 90% PCR post consumer regrind made from recycled single use plastic that would otherwise end up in landfill. Our Unisex range is made from 30% PCR.

By the end of 2021, our manufacturing will be running on green energy which is part of our mission to reduce our carbon footprint.
